Raheny Driving Test Route 1
One of Many being used in 2015.
Move off from beside the small park on All Saints Park.
Drive to the end of the road and take the right turn onto All Saints Drive.
Continue to the T junction turning right onto Watermill Road.
At the crossroads turn right, driving along the coast on Clontarf Road.
At the traffic lights turn right onto Mount Prospect Avenue, parking briefly to do a hill start.
Driving just past the first junction, park again to reverse into Baymount Park.
Coming back out to the left, follow Mount Prospect Avenue around the bend.
Take the first right onto Mount Prospect Drive.
At the T junction turn left onto Mount Prospect Park.
At the next T junction turn left again onto Mount Prospect Avenue.
Take the first right onto Seapark Road.
Follow the road straight ( ish ) at the staggered junction onto Conquer Hill Road.
Take the first right into Chelsea Gardens to do a turnabout.
Come back out to the right.
At the crossroads turn right onto Kincora Road.
At the traffic lights turn right onto Vernon Avenue.
Follow this road up to the major junction past the park and at the traffic lights turn right.
Take the second road to the right, All Saints Road.
Follow this through the roundabouts until you are turning back onto All Saints Park, to finish.
Finglas Test Route 1
One of Many being used in 2015.
Coming out of the gates of the business park, turn right onto Jamestown road.
Take the first left onto Clancey avenue.
At the T junction turn right onto McKee Road.
Take the second left onto Finglas Park.
Then take the first right onto Ballygall Avenue
At the main road turn left onto Ballygall Road / Glasnevin Road.
Follow this to the roundabout, taking the first exit onto Willow Park Road.
Almost immediately turn left onto Grove Park Avenue.
Then the quick right, park the car and do a reverse into Grove Park Crescent.
Moving off, take the right.
Then right again onto Grove Park Avenue.
At the T junction take the road to the left.
Back onto the main road turn left again onto Glasnevin Avenue.
Continue through the roundabout this time to the second exit, taking the next left onto Willow Park Avenue.
At the mini roundabout, take the first exit onto Willow Park Road, drive past the first junction and park to do a turn about.
Take the first road to the left.
At the T junction turn left on Willow Park Grove.
Take the first road to the right
Then take the first turn to the left onto Pinewood Avenue.
At the T junction turn right onto Willow Park Road.
After the bend park for an easy hill start, then turn left onto Cederwood Rise.
Following the bend take the first right.
Then the next right again.
At the T junction turn left onto Cederwood Rise.
Turn right onto Willow Park Crescent.
Then the immediate left onto Grove Park Road.
Follow this to the main road again, turning right onto Glasnevin Avenue.
At the traffic lights turn right onto Clune Road.
At the T junction turn right onto Jamestown Road.
Turn left back into Jamestown Business Park and around the test centre to the right.
Finglas Driving Test Route 2
One of Many being used in 2015.
Follow the testers instructions out of your parking space.
Driving out of the Jamestown Business Park turn right on Jamestown Road.
Take the first left onto Clancy Avenue.
At the T junction turn left on McKee Road. Park the car to do hand signals / hill start.
Move off and drive to the top of the road, turning right onto Sycamore Road.
Just past the shops turn left onto Cedarwood Road, park the car
Reverse into Cedarwood Park.
Moving off to the right back onto Cedarwood Road.
Take the first right onto Cedarwood Avenue and park the car.
Perform a turnabout and then take the road to left on Cedarwood Road again.
Follow the road and take the first left after the bend onto Oakwood Park.
At the T junction turn right onto Sycamore Road.
Take the first left onto Clancy Road.
At the T junction turn right onto Clancy Avenue.
Then turn left on left on Jamestown Road.
At the traffic lights turn left onto Seamus Ennis Road.
At the roundabout take the third exit onto Beneavin Drive.
Take the first turn to the right on Beneavin Road.
Then take the second left onto Ferndale Road.
At the T junction turn left on Ferndale Avenue.
At the next T junction turn left again onto Ballygall Road East, becoming Beneavin Road.
Take the third exit off the roundabout this time onto Glasnevin Avenue.
Take the next left onto Willow Park Avenue.
At the mini-roundabout take the first exit to stay on Willow Park Avenue.
Follow the road to the T junction turning left on Willow Park Road.
Follow the road taking the second exit of the roundabout onto Beneavin Drive.
Again take the first right onto Beneavin Road and follow it to the end.
At the T junction turn left on Glasnevin Avenue / Ballygall Road West.
Then take the immediate right onto Grove Road.
At the T junction turn left on Sycamore Road.
At the traffic lights turn left back on Jamestown Road.
Turn right into the Jamestown Business Park and follow the testers directions to a parking space.
Finglas Driving Test Route 3
One of Many being used in 2015.
Drive out of Jamestown Business Park turning left on Jamestown Road.
At the traffic lights turn right onto Sycamore Road.
Take the second right onto McKee Road.
Take the first left onto Finglas Park and follow the bend.
Park the car to reverse into Grove Avenue.
Moving off turn left back onto Finglas Park.
Take the immediate right to Grove Wood and park the car.
Perform a turn about and drive back out again to Finglas Park turning right.
Take the second left onto Ballygall Avenue.
At the T junction turn left on Ballygall Road West / Glasnevin Avenue.
Just past the shops turn left onto Grove Park Road.
Then turn right at the first junction onto Grove Park Avenue.
At the T junction turn right on Willow Park Road.
Follow the road through the roundabout to Beneavin Drive.
Just before the major junction turn right onto Glasilawn Road.
Then turn right onto Glasilawn Avenue, at the first junction.
Take the first left on Glasmeen Road.
Then turn left on Tolka Estate.
At second crossroads turn left onto Griffith Avenue Extension.
Turn right at the traffic lights right on Ballygall Road East.
At the next lights turn right again on the Old Finglas Road.
Follow the road to the N2 turning right at the major junction.
At the third set of traffic lights turn right and follow the bend on Finglas Road left into Finglas Village.
Take the second right into the one way street.
At the major junction follow the road through the traffic lights keeping slightly right for Jamestown Road.
Turning left into Jamestown Business Park follow the testers instructions to park.
Rathgar Driving Test Route 1
One of Many used January 2015.
Coming out of Rathgar Driving Test Centre turn left onto Orwell Road.
At the traffic lights turn left onto Orwell Park.
Drive the length of this road and at the lights turn left onto Dartry Road.
At the crossroads / traffic lights turn right onto Temple Road, park the car and then do a reverse into the first sideroad.
Driving back out turn right and at the traffic lights turn right again, back onto Dartry Road.
At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Highfield Road and take the second road to the right onto Neville Road.
Drive the length of this road and at the T junction turn right onto Vernon Grove.
Take the slight right turn, yielding to traffic on Frankfort Avenue.
Take the immediate left turn onto Rathmines Road Upper. Take the first right turn onto Church Avenue.
Follow the road, driving to the left of the church and at the traffic lights turn right.
From Palmerstown Road turn right at the lights onto Cowper Road.
At the T junction turn left onto Rathmines Road Upper. Follow the road through the first set of lights ( a quick left and right ) onto Dartry Road.
Drive down the hill, round the bend and take the right turn at the Dropping Well Pub traffic lights, park on this hill to do a hill start.
Then drive along the road until the next set of lights where you should turn right. Driving back along Orwell Road take the second left into Eaton Brae to do a turn-about.
Drive back out to the left and return to the test centre.
Tallaght Driving Test Route 1
One of Many being used in 2015.
Driving out of the car-park turn to the right on Broomhill Road.
At the T junction turn left onto Greenhills Road.
Continue through the first lights and at the second set of traffic lights turn right onto Castletymon Road.
Take the first right onto Tymonville Road and park to do a hill start.
At the T junction turn right onto Tymon North Road, stopping to reverse into Saint Aongus’ Park.
Moving off and turning to the left, follow Saint Aongus’ Road,
Take the third road to the right, park the car and do a turnabout.
Come back out turning right onto Saint Aongus’ Road again.
Follow it to the T junction turn right onto Castletymon Road.
Follow this road to the end, then turn left onto Tallaght Main Road.
Drive all the way around the roundabout, back onto Tallaght Main Road.
Take the first left into Glenview Park.
Then take the immediate right.
At the T junction turn right.
Then turn left, back out onto Tallaght Main Road.
In Tallaght Village, take the right turn at the lights onto Greenhills road.
Take the second left onto Broomhill Road and back into the test centre.
Tallaght Driving Test Route 2
One of Many being used in 2015.
Driving out of the car-park turn to the left on Broomhill Road.
Follow the road to the T junction turning right onto Airton Road.
At the Traffic lights turn left onto Belgard Road.
Take the second road of the roundabout, effectively to the right, to Belgard Square North.
Follow the road through the roundabouts and at the T junction turn right onto Cookstown Way.
Take the next right turn on Second Avenue.
At the roundabout take the first exit onto Cookstown Road.
Stay on Cookstown Road by taking the second exit at the next roundabout.
At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Old Belgard Road and follow this road to the end.
Take the right and then right again to the Belgard Road dual carriageway.
Take the second left turn onto Mayberry Road.
Then turn left into Parkhill Road. Use Redwood Court for the Reverse around the corner.
Move off turning right onto Parkhill Road again.
At the T junction turn left back on Mayberry Road.
Take the next left into Treepark Road and follow along.
At the roundabout take the first exit on Parkhill Road and stop to do a hill start.
Move off and take the first left into Parkhill Avenue.
Follow the road around the block to do a turnabout and turn left onto Parkhill Way.
At the T junction turn right onto Treepark Road.
Follow the road to turn left back on Mayberry Road.
At the T junction turn right onto Greenhills Road.
Take the next right on Broomhill Road.
Then turn left and left again into the Tallaght driving test centre, carpark.
Tallaght Driving Test Route 3
One of Many being used in 2015.
Driving out of the Tallaght test centre, carpark turn right on Broomhill Road.
At the T junction turn right onto Greenhills Road.
(Or turn left onto Greenhills Road, then take the immediate right, right again. Another right at the T junction and the left onto Greenhills road.)
At the traffic lights turn right on Ayrton Road.
Follow the road to the traffic lights turning left at Belgard Road.
At the round about the the second road (effectively right) onto Belgard Square North.
Follow the road through the next round about, taking the second exit and at the traffic lights turn right on Cookstown Way.
Take the next left onto Maplewood Road.
Follow the road, at the round about take the second exit.
Take the second right onto Cookstown Road.
Take the first road to the left to Fettercain Road.
Turn right and an immediate right again onto Katherine Tynan Road.
At the major junction take the filtered left turn to Cookstown Road.
Take the second right into Belgard Heights and the immediate left on the Oaks.
Take the first right and then left onto The Rise.
Turn right on The Meadow and drive down the road. Park to do a turn about and park again to do a hill start.
Turn right onto The Heath and park the car to use The Glade or The Oaks to do a reverse around a corner.
Moving off turn left back onto The Heath. At the T junction turn left on The View.
Take the first right and the immediate left to Old Belgard Road.
At the major junction turn right and right again onto Belgard Road.
Take the second road to the left, Mayberry Road.
Follow this road to the end, turning right on Greenhills Road.
Take the first right back onto Broomhill Road and carefully turn left back into the Tallaght driving test centre.
